Robert Blacklidge
Robert Blacklidge is an accomplished business educator, mentor, speaker, and ecosystem builder who is passionate about promoting economic development through business education and growth. He is currently serving as the Executive Director at Domi Station, where he has worked tirelessly to build the Florida Ecosystem, a move that has had significant local and national recognition.
Robert's work building the Florida Ecosystem involves liaising with several international programs, including Startup Grind, 1 Million Cups, and Techstars Startup Weekend, and leading efforts towards building an inclusive and vibrant startup community in the area. He is also an avid volunteer and runs programs for various organizations such as Techstars Startup Week and Weekend, as well as Action Zone, a veteran-focused business accelerator.
Robert is an alumnus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he studied a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General, and Bachelor's degree in General Studies, and Community College of the Air Force, where he obtained an Associates of Science in Electronic Systems Technologies. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Midland University, and Foundations of Data Science from the Springboard program.
Robert's career journey has seen him hold various positions at different organizations throughout his career, including time spent as Professor at Midland University MBA Program, Director of Entrepreneurship at Domi Station, and Lead Conductor at StartupBus, among others. He has also been recognized for his achievements, including being selected as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence for Operation Startup.
