Jane Modoono is a seasoned educator with years of experience in academic leadership. Currently, she holds the position of Principal at Herricks High School where she oversees the day to day operations to ensure that the school's academic and extracurricular programs meet students' needs. Prior to this role, Modoono served as the assistant principal, where she worked towards improving the school culture and student engagement. She is committed to ensuring that each student has access to excellent educational opportunities that will prepare them for future success.

Modoono has a strong educational background, having received a bachelor's degree in history from Marist College and a master's degree in educational leadership from Stony Brook University. Throughout her career, she has proven herself to be a confident, innovative, and effective leader with an ability to inspire those around her.
