Having studied event production, marketing, and public relations at New York University, and also at Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus, Cory Mervis possesses a solid educational background to support his professional endeavors.

Throughout his career, Cory Mervis has held various key roles in prestigious organizations. He is the Executive Director at The Society for Experimental Art and Learning and has previously owned Flyingpan Productions LLC. He has also served in significant positions at Burning Man, including as a retired Regional Contact and Cultural Attache'. His production credits include notable projects like 'Flames of Change,' 'Lucky Lady Lucy,' 'Art Ho,' and 'Viva Las XMas,' among many others.

In addition to his involvement with Burning Man, Cory Mervis has been instrumental in producing various events such as 'Waterpod Project,' 'NYC Decompression,' 'Day on the Playa,' and 'Phoenix Rising.' His diverse experience also extends to roles like Director of New Media, Designer, and Webmaster, showcasing his versatile skill set and expertise in different areas.
