Mark Beer, OBE, is a highly experienced and accomplished executive, lawyer, and futurist with over three decades of international experience. He has gained a reputation as an innovative and collaborative strategic advisor, independent non-executive director, and public speaker. With expertise in a range of fields, including law, finance, and aviation, Mark is best known for his visionary approach to deep tech and its impact on international law and justice, as well as his advocacy for greater collaboration and service excellence.

Mark began his academic journey at the prestigious Manchester Grammar School before earning his Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford. He has held various senior executive positions at multinational companies, including MasterCard and Man Investments, as well as having worked in several legal firms, including Edge & Ellison and Clyde & Co LLP. Mark's legal expertise spans a diverse range of areas, including corporate finance, company commercial and dispute resolution, among others.

On the organizational front, Mark has been a former Chairman at The Metis Institute, President at The International Association for Court Administration, and a Board Member at several organizations, including Global Legal Action Network (GLAN) and Resolve Disputes Online. He was also a member of the Innovation Working Group at The Task Force on Justice for United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16.3.
