Joao Aguiam is a skilled project manager, software engineer, and entrepreneur with a passion for building innovative solutions from scratch. With a Master's in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and additional certifications in design thinking and project management, he has cultivated a diverse skill set that spans technical and business domains.

As the co-founder and CTO of Veertly, Aguiam focuses on developing a virtual events platform that allows companies to host remote meetings, conferences, and other types of gatherings seamlessly. Prior to Veertly, he founded Padely, where he honed his leadership and entrepreneurial skills in the online marketplace sector. In addition, he has worked in various roles at One Step Beyond Group, Taiga Market, NAGRA, CTModule, GASTagus, and iSimplex.com.

Aguiam's broad experience encompasses release engineering, cloud management, program management, team leadership, and R&D. He previously served as a teaching assistant at IST, sharing his expertise in operating systems with students. Aguiam has always had a passion for bringing ideas to life, which is evident in the impressive array of projects he has undertaken throughout his career.
