With graduate and undergraduate degrees in mathematics and German studies from NC State University and the University of Connecticut, he has honed his analytical, problem-solving, and language skills. His professional experience ranges from research assistant at NC State University, content quality tester at WebAssign, to in-language coder at Gazelle Global.
In 2015, Nehring founded RoadSide Software, where he developed Mobile Concierge, an app aimed at hotel guests. In 2019, he pivoted to start ThriftCart, a point-of-sale system and donation pickup scheduling software designed for reuse stores. ThriftCart streamlines workflows, enhances donor relations, and boosts sales, enabling reuse stores to thrive.
