François Colbert, C.M. is a prominent professor of marketing and holder of the Carmelle and Rémi Marcoux Chair in Arts Management at HEC Montréal. With a career spanning over three decades, he has made significant contributions to the field of arts management, particularly in the performing arts, museum and film sectors. Prof. Colbert has authored more than 200 publications and given numerous talks and seminars in 25 different countries on topics related to cultural management. In recognition of his outstanding achievements, he was awarded the Order of Canada in 2002 and made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 2005.
