Raymond Usher is a veteran game developer and audio expert with over two decades of experience. As the founder of Euphonious Limited, an audio production and software company, Usher has contributed to numerous video game titles such as Grand Theft Auto, Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Lord of the Rings. He is also a multiple audio BAFTA winner and a regular jury member, making him an authority in the industry. A graduate of the University of Dundee with a BSc in Computer Science, Usher has also worked as a part-time lecturer at the University of Abertay Dundee. He is the commissioner of an independent study on the Biometric Effect of Audio on the Gaming Experience, which investigates how audio enhances video game immersion. Usher's expertise extends to the creation of real-time first-order reflections systems in video games and developing the next generation of audio middleware aimed at the mobile market. A pioneer in the industry, Usher has created AudioSkins, a website of "shrink-wrapped" music and sound effect packages for game, web, and app developers, film makers, animators, and more.
