Chris Brady Jr.
Chris Brady Jr. is a venture capitalist with over 15 years of experience operating and investing in emerging technology companies. He currently serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer at Hawaii Sandalwood and sits on the board of directors for various companies, including CoolIT Systems, IntegriCo Composites, and Katai.
Chris began his career as an analyst at Insitech Incorporated, a US Army partnership intermediary where he supported the advanced technology commercialization efforts of the Department of Defense. In 2006, he joined Chart Venture Partners (CVP) at its inception and evaluated investment opportunities by performing in-depth industry analysis and conducting due diligence, deploying $66M across 16 companies.
Chris advanced strategies across CVP's remaining portfolio companies as Managing Partner during its wind-down phase, generating over $16M in proceeds. He also co-wrote the business plan and assembled a founding team that became Flyby Media, leading the Series A round and joining a syndicate of venture funds. Chris joined Flyby as General Manager, overseeing operations and finances while supporting strategic business efforts. The company was acquired by Apple in 2016.
Outside of his professional work, Chris has interests in marine conservation, mentorship, health and wellness, spearfishing, and entrepreneurship. He earned a BA from Yale University.
