Jim Sidler, a software engineering veteran, has over a decade of experience in building and developing software engineering teams. As a graduate of the University of Arizona, where he majored in Media Arts with an emphasis on New Media and New Technologies, he dove right into his profession, starting as a Web Developer multiple times, Ruby on Rails Web Application Developer, and Software Engineer II.

Throughout the years, Sidler held various managerial positions, including Director of Software Development, where he managed Pathways TV, and Software Engineering Manager for RetailMeNot, Inc. Today, Jim serves as the Manager of Software Development Engineering for Airport Operations-Above the Wing at Hawaiian Airlines, responsible for building and guiding software engineering teams.

Sidler is ardent about his profession and he thrives in a tech-driven environment. When he's not leading teams, he commits his time to run his company, Five Thrive, LLC, seeking to inspire, build, grow, and guide software engineering teams.
