Jonathan Taylor is an accomplished economic developer, community leader, and capacity generator with years of experience in economic development and regional planning. Taylor holds a degree in Political Science and Economics from Lenoir-Rhyne College and a Master's degree in Economic Development and Regional Planning from East Carolina University. He also earned certificates in Economic Development from the University of Oklahoma and the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Institute.
Taylor began his career as a City Manager Intern at the City of Washington and has since worked as an Economic Development Manager at the City of Tualatin, Director of Economic Development at the City of Trinidad, and Executive Director at the Washington County Economic and Tourism Partnership. He is passionate about collaborating with communities to create and execute economic development plans, generating and building capacity, and driving growth through innovation.
Taylor has an in-depth knowledge of European political and economic systems, which he studied while at Accademia Italiana in Rome. His expertise and skills include project management, community development, strategic planning, economic analysis, and marketing.
