Tony Sziklai is a highly experienced and successful high tech business builder, entrepreneur, and startup mentor based in Santa Monica, California. He has a proven track record delivering advanced, highly-scalable solutions across a variety of industries, making him a versatile technologist with a passion for teaching entrepreneurs. His broad and deep experience in cloud/SaaS, e-commerce, digital marketing, machine learning, and mobile application development has enabled him to become a well-versed CTO with strong domain knowledge of direct-to-consumer order fulfillment, storage, shipping, and customer service.

As a co-founder and CTO of Vejo, Inc., Tony successfully launched the startup, fundraising and building a great team. He is highly skilled in recruiting, developing, and managing high-performance I.T. teams, Agile/Scrum, object-oriented analysis and design, and full-stack systems design, development and deployment. Additionally, he has experience with continuous integration/delivery, big data analysis, information security, software patenting, and IP protection with a unique background in large-scale metadata-based PaaS architectures. Tony's current pet project involves experimenting with deep convolutional neural networks for rare cancer cell detection and protein profiling. He has previously advised and worked as a strategic adviser and shareholder at Storidge.com and Beauty By Design, as well as a member and advocate at LA CTO Forum and CTO Adviser and Startup Coach at Cal Lutheran Center for Entrepreneurship.
