Dan Mapes is an accomplished entrepreneur, inventor, and investor with over 25 years of experience at the intersection of internet technology and entertainment. He is the founder of VERSES.io, an advanced AI and Spatial Networking company, and is also a founder and architect of The Spatial Web, the next generation of the Internet. Dan has a deep interest in the impact of technology on society and how it can help solve many seemingly intractable problems facing humanity, such as climate management, advanced social services, and more. He is a keynote speaker and co-author of the best-selling book, The Spatial Web, which outlines the future of AI and machine intelligence.

Dan holds a PhD Fellowship in Systems Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA - Honors in Int'l Business and MIS Design from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a BSc Honors - Taft Fellow in Econ and Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati. He also studied International Relations and German Language Studies at the University of Berlin (Freie Universitat).
