• Implemented a large scale refactoring of the entire app, switching from a faulty Model-View-Controller architecture, to a reactive Model-View-ViewModel implementation, with a high focus on modularity, extensibility and automated testing
• Developed different new features of the app. Most of them include working throughout all the layers of the code base 
• Worked closely with product owners on implementing analytics events that allow a better understanding of user’s behaviour and needs

• Developed generic loyalty feature to allow a broad merchant base (from coffee shops to market stalls) to tailor custom loyalty programs to their customers 
• Responsible for refactoring previous features (like receipt printing), focusing on modularity and extensibility  
• Closely working with Design team on creating UI/UX following the platform’s guidelines to create a good native experience 
• Collaborating with the backend team on creating a secure and straight-forward communication between apps and backend
• Other tasks include bug fixing, implementing automated tests, code reviews

Android Software Developer

• Developed key features for the Navigon Cosmote Greece version of the app (a partnership with the largest network operator in Greece). These included extending the communication with the backend, setting up different in-app purchase options and trial periods based on the type of customer.
• Integration of third-party services provided by different companies like T-Mobile, Glympse and others
• Developed in-app purchase through Samsung Apps store, as part of the Navigon version that was preinstalled on all Samsung phones sold in Australia.
• Further responsibilities included, among others, building different UI features, refactoring and bug fixing.
