Carrie Coppernoll Jacobs is a versatile professional with significant experience in journalism and digital marketing. She is highly knowledgeable in the areas of criminal justice, education, nonprofits and public service. Jacobs earned her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and worked as an award-winning reporter and columnist at The Oklahoman. She also has experience teaching journalism to high school students, which underscores her passion for education.
Jacobs is currently serving as a Board Member of the Oklahoma City Public Schools, representing District 3 in western Oklahoma City. Prior to that, she was a Social Media Organizer at the Oklahoma Education Association, where she effectively leveraged social media to enhance the organization's reach and impact. She also worked as a Content Marketing Specialist at BigWing Interactive and as a Creative Writer at Kimray, Inc.
