The San Diego investment community has been the home of Eric Gasser since 2012. Private investor and mountain bike enthusiast, Eric has been an active participant in the area's investment accelerator. He started his journey as a Board Member, and Hi-Tech screening chair at Tech Coast Angels, where he boosted the organization's growth. Subsequently, he co-founded SEED San Diego, dedicated to supporting early-stage investment collaboratives. Later, he helped in the formation of Ad Astra Ventures, where he supports female founders. Eric's career life has always leaned towards supporting emerging businesses, as he continues to work with portfolio companies while scouting for new opportunities to assist the earliest stages of startups. In his free time, he volunteers at universities and with the USOPC to help others to kickstart their business ventures. Eric's background includes studying AA marketing and sales at Santa Rosa Junior College. He formerly worked at Tarsadia Hotels as Director of Sales, GRSNetworks as National Account Executive, and as Athlete/Founder at Race Cycle Line. His passion for mountain bike riding led him to become a professional mountain bike coach at MTBCornering.
