Michelle Peak is an accomplished employee and labor relations leader, with experience in both rail and aviation industries. With a solid record of driving change, reducing financial risks, and minimizing the impact of external influence, Michelle has proven herself to be a results-oriented executive with a talent for leading and developing human resource professionals.
Michelle's principal strengths lie in spreading employee relations expertise across organizations through effective policy development, job-relevant manager training, coaching, counseling, positive employee relations programs, and assertive contract interpretation. She serves as a subject-matter expert on company policies, collective bargaining agreements, and best practices, monitoring, investigating, and remediating charges, claims, grievances, and allegations of discrimination and unfair treatment.
Throughout her career, Michelle has demonstrated a talent for maintaining positive employee relations through assertive training, reducing union interference in unionized facilities by serving as an anchor for managers, strengthening management skills and confidence, and establishing appropriate relationships with labor representatives.
Michelle Peak studied at Creighton University School of Law and has worked in a variety of roles throughout her career, including Head of Labor Relations at LSG Sky Chefs, Director & Senior Labor Attorney at American Airlines, Labor Relations Manager at Union Pacific Railroad, and Deputy County Attorney at Douglas County Nebraska.
