Timothy Collingsworth

Timothy Collingsworth, an accomplished Computational Biochemist with over a decade of research, internship, and education experience, is seeking a role in Bioinformatics, Data Science, or Computational Chemistry. Timothy is a published author, presenter, and certified lecturer who displays excellent analytical skills to synthesize data from multiple sources. He has expertise in utilizing software solutions to develop sophisticated data models and queries to integrate existing tools, APIs. Furthermore, his excellent communication and leadership skills have proved well in his career. Timothy has a Master's degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, with minors in Computer Science and Spanish from the University of Iowa.

Timothy has experience working for various organizations, including JMI Laboratories as a Bioinformatics Scientist, FOE-DRC Metabolomics Core at the University of Iowa as a Data Scientist, and the Schnieders Group at the University of Iowa as a Graduate Research Assistant. He has also worked as a Phlebotomist for UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's and Mercy Iowa City.
