Joshua Bailey is a highly experienced educator who brings a wealth of diverse knowledge and skills to his role as Principal at Baltimore City Public Schools. With a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and Sociology from The George Washington University and a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Bailey has a solid academic background that complements his years of real-world teaching and mentorship experience. Throughout his career, Joshua has led groups of 10-20 students and mentored over 80 new Teach for America Corps Members, producing outstanding results through data-driven instruction. In his current role, he focuses on instructional leadership, climate and culture, and managing day-to-day operations of the school.

Joshua's extensive professional background includes serving as Curriculum Specialist and Corp Member Advisor at Teach for America, Special Education Teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools, Resource and Inclusion Special Education Teacher also at Baltimore City Public Schools, and former Grant Writer at DC Central Kitchen. Additionally, he worked as a Neighbors Project Service Coordinator at George Washington University, Development Intern at Martha's Table, and DC Reads Tutor at Stevens Elementary School.
