Jochen Eisinger is a seasoned Director of Engineering at Google, boasting over a decade of experience on various parts of Chrome, the famed web browser. He is currently responsible for spearheading the development of Chrome's privacy and security features to ensure that it remains the safest tool for browsing the web. Jochen previously served in various roles at Google, including Senior Staff Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Prior to joining Google, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of British Columbia and as Software and Hardware Verification Engineer Intern at Infineon Technologies and IBM Deutschland Research & Development GmbH. Jochen's educational qualifications include diplomas in Computer Science and a Doctorate degree in Natural Sciences from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau.
