Moriska Selby is a driven and passionate professional with an extensive background in educational leadership, student achievement, and community partnership development. She attended Harvard University Graduate School of Education and completed her Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D.) degree, while previously studying at Lesley University, Tufts University, and Guilford Technical Community College. Selby is the Co-founder and CEO of Adventure Girlz, an educational program focused on young girls' empowerment. She previously served as an Assistant Professor, Director of General Education & Innovation Activity, Adjunct Assistant Professor, and Visiting Faculty Consultant at Bennett College. Additionally, Selby has held multiple positions at Citizen Schools as a Managing Director, Senior Campus Director, Teaching Associate, and Teaching Fellow. She has also worked as a Graduate Fellow at Education Pioneers and as a Marking/Public Relations Intern at Citizen Schools. Furthermore, Selby has been involved in several initiatives, including serving as the Chair at the Harvard Graduate School of Education Alumni of Color Conference and being an Ed.L.D. Doctoral Resident/Candidate at Correctional Association of New York.
