Monique Maurice is an accomplished Fiscal and Budget Management Professional with a diverse range of experience in state government administration. Her expertise includes management and supervision, budget planning, analysis, and management, policy analysis, procurement and contract management, and emergency preparedness. Monique holds a Post-Graduate Certificate of Public Health Sciences from the Colorado School of Public Health and has an impressive academic record, including a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from the University of Colorado at Denver and an A.A. in General Education from Red Rocks Community College.
Throughout her career, Monique has held several positions in various organizations. She currently serves as the Fiscal Services Branch Chief at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Center for Health and Environmental Data. Prior to her current role, Monique was the Operations Branch Manager and Contract Administrator at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Emergency Preparedness and Response. Monique's other experiences include working as a Public Policy Intern at NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado, an Intern- Digital Media Producer, Democratic National Convention at CNN, and a Teller at JP Morgan Chase.
Monique's skills go beyond her professional background, as she is also involved in her community. She served as the Co-Treasurer, Executive Team at Roxborough PTIC, and also worked as an Event Planner (Contract) at the International Marine Transit Association. In the past, she has held positions such as Group Tour Coordinator/Marketing Assistant and Product Manager at Clipper Navigation, Inc.
