Cherie Nelson is a highly experienced sales and account management professional with a strong track record in wholesale and retail fashion, kids' accessories, childrenswear, and gift and toy channels. With more than 15 years of experience managing diverse accounts, including mass markets, national chains, department stores, and promotional markets, Cherie is also a specialist in product development, creating exclusive products for retail programs.
Despite her previous career direction, Cherie has recently committed to a full-time position as a Patient Experience Officer in one of Sydney's leading trauma hospitals' Emergency Department. With the impact of COVID-19, Cherie believes that people need support more than ever, and she is proud to be part of a project implemented by the NSW Ministry of Health to help support and improve the journey for patients, families, and their caregivers.
Cherie holds a certification in Promotional Marketing from the Sydney Institute of Technology, and she has previously held various positions, including Business Development Manager and Sales Manager at One Fine Collective and CPR Kids, respectively. She has also served as a National Accounts and Business Development Manager at Vimwood Australia and worked as a Buyer for brandsExclusive/Aussie Commerce.
