Michael Cohen is a multi-talented individual with a varied professional background. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Mass Communications, and Basketball from Yeshiva University, a Certificate in NGO from Bar-Ilan University, and has studied AA in Jewish Education from the James Striar School of General Jewish Studies. Additionally, he is a Certified Therapist in Narrative Therapy and a Certified Life Coach from the Jerusalem Narrative Therapy Center and Life Coaching Certification Center, respectively.

Cohen has been an active member of the Jewish community, serving as a Zionist Educator to Non-Jewish World at the Galilee Institute for Practical Zionism, Lecturer in Political Science and Non-Profit Management at Bar-Ilan University, and Deputy General Manager of the Israel Foundation at Yad Vashem. He has also served in the Israel Defense Forces as a Reserve Officer and Enlisted NCO.

Cohen's expertise extends beyond Jewish history and education. He has worked in Strategic Management Consulting as a pro-bono consultant for The DTEC, the first Druze High-Tech Economic Empowerment Center. Cohen has also been involved in biomedical initiatives, serving as Director of Medical-Enterprise Development Group and Co-Chief Executive Officer at Florida-Israel Biomedical Initiative. He has been an Israel Tourism Liaison to Christian and Jewish Leadership in North and South America for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Additionally, Cohen has served as Director of Communications and Founder of OU.ORG at the Orthodox Union, as well as Interim Executive Director of the American Sportscasters Association.

Aside from his professional responsibilities, Cohen devotes his free time to educating friends of all faiths and persuasions about Israel, Zionism, and Jewish/Biblical thought. He is CIO of Israel Point of Contact (IPOC), through which he promotes programs and initiatives that foster greater understanding and engagement with Israel.
