Cepi Nys is a human service professional with over 19 years of experience in various fields such as substance abuse counseling, transitional housing, advocacy counseling, compliance, and managerial training. She is also experienced in communications, media development, and computer programming. Nys is a supporter of the National Council on Disability and serves as an advisor on the board of directors of Quest Inc. and establishing officer for The Environmental Awareness Network for Diversity in Conservation, Inc. Her academic background is in Human Services/Chemical Dependency Counseling and Broadcasting Communications. Currently, she is the president and CEO of Community Empowerment Programs Incorporated, promoting community development with empowering programs that provide education, advocacy, referrals, and resources to the underserved populations.
