Ali Saeed is a multifaceted technology enthusiast who has navigated through various roles in engineering, design, and development in different industries. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Mechatronics Engineering and started by working in manufacturing and quality assurance for General Motors before transitioning to software development. Ali is currently a User Interface Engineer at Prospect, where he applies his skills in UI design, software engineering, and automation tools to create products that help businesses grow.
Over the years, Ali has worn many hats, from Lead iOS Developer at reebee Inc. to Flash Content Developer at Top Hat Monocle. At Plate Labs and Apptitude Apps, he worked as an iOS/UX developer, while at Callisto Integration, he honed his skills in programming for iOS, web, and PLC. Ali has also worked as a research associate at the University of Waterloo and a developer/tester at RoweBots Research Inc, where he focused on developing embedded systems.
Aside from his professional work, Ali has also found time to serve as the West Canada Dispatcher at East & West Transportation, a Radio-Frequency Kiln Technical Analyst at Tembec, and a CNC Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo. He leverages his skills in programming, design, and engineering to create innovative products that meet the needs of his clients and impact their bottom line.
