Kevin Stephens
Kevin Stephens is an accomplished physician and business professional with extensive experience in operations management, entrepreneurship, and value-based care leadership. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Booth School of Business, both at the University of Chicago. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics from Yale University.
Dr. Stephens has held several leadership positions, including Medical Director and Physician at Oak Street Health, a network of primary care centers focused on providing value-based care to adults on Medicare. He also served as Interim Program Director for the Fellowship for Value-based Care Leadership at Oak Street Health, where he developed and implemented training programs to educate physicians and other healthcare professionals on value-based care models.
Prior to joining Oak Street Health, Dr. Stephens completed his residency in family medicine at Georgetown University/Providence Hospital and served as Chief Family Medicine Resident. He also worked as a Health Innovation Fellow at Apervita, Inc. and as an intern at Varsa Health and a Summer Associate at Strategy&, part of the PwC network (formerly Booz & Company).
