Sergey Medvedev is an accomplished international lawyer with a focus on intellectual property law and technology. With over 12 years of experience in the field, Sergey has gained extensive experience in representing various industry sectors, including TMT. He is a registered trademark, design, and software attorney and specializes in both contentious and non-contentious business IP-related matters. Among his areas of expertise are copyrights, patents, trademarks, domain names, data protection, and privacy laws. He also provides strategic IPT advisory and regulatory work, IPT due diligence and audit, IPT transactional and contractual work, IPT litigation and dispute resolution.

Sergey holds many qualifications, including a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, a Doctor of Philosophy in Law (PhD) from the Russian State Institute of Intellectual Property, a Specialist in Law in International Trade Law from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in International Trade Law, also from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.

He then worked as a Foreign Visiting Attorney (Trademarks/Copyrights/Domains) at Partridge Partners PC before returning to Gorodissky & Partners as a Partner.
