Lopa van der Mersch is a driven and passionate individual with a diverse background in environmental sustainability and wellness. She is the founder and CEO of Rasa, a company focused on revolutionizing the way we energize by creating adaptogenic coffee alternatives that nourish the body's system.
Her journey to Rasa started when she moved to Costa Rica to caretaker a wildlife refuge in the rainforest, experiencing the power of nature and gaining a profound respect for energy as a whole. She then co-founded two climate solution companies and worked with Richard Branson's Carbon War Room before starting Rasa.
Her love for education led her to study molecular biology, music, and English at Colorado State University and complete a 7-year program Graduate in Tantrik Yoga Studies Program at Dharma INC. She's also held various roles and contributed to organizations like Carbon Roots International, Samavesha, International Biochar Initiative, and Biochar Engineering Corporation.
Lopa van der Mersch's expertise and interests include sustainability, wellness, adaptogenic herbs and mushrooms, energy, environmental entrepreneurship, climate change, biochar, and public speaking.
