Tessy Ojo is a renowned humanitarian, campaigner, and third sector leader with over 20 years of experience working with young people across British establishments. She currently serves as the Chief Executive of the Diana Award, a charity legacy to Princess Diana's belief in young people's power to change the world. Under her leadership, the charity has undergone a 360-degree turnaround and experienced significant growth and expansion since 2011.
With a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, an MBA, and a post-grad diploma in Counselling, Ojo is a member of several high-profile executive boards, including the Royal Taskforce on Cyberbullying, UK Council for Child Internet Safety, and Comic Relief. She is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and sits on the BBC's Appeals Advisory Committee. Her passion for social justice and equity for young people has earned her international recognition and prestigious awards, including the Martin Luther King Award in Atlanta, making her the first British National to receive the honor.
In her spare time, Ojo enjoys spending time with her family, with both her children currently studying at University.
