Amy Rankine is a highly motivated and industrious individual with a background in food science, technology, and management. She possesses an exceptional set of skills and expertise grounded in her BSc in both Food Science, Technology & Management and Astrophysics. Her passion for food science has enabled her to gain industry experience in new product development, and she is currently studying towards a PGCE in Design & Technology as it is her keen interest.

Her obsession with food science started while she was at Heriot-Watt University, where she developed an excellent understanding of the subject's intricacies. She excelled in her studies and went on to work as an NPD assistant at Cott Beverages. Her time in this role gave her a wealth of experience, allowing her to shape and develop some of the most exciting new products the company had to offer.

In addition to her experience in NPD, she has worked as a consultant at Mnm Associates and a resourcer at Lorien, where she gained valuable experience in the recruitment sector. Her expertise in food science and technology led her to establish her business, Hipsters and Hobos. She is currently studying towards her PGCE in Design & Technology while working on her business.
