Dana Schultes is a highly accomplished professional in the arts industry, with a career spanning over two decades. She started her journey in theatre at a very young age and went on to become a member of Actors' Equity Association in 1999. Over the years, Dana has worn many hats in the theatre world, including actress, director, stage manager, sound designer, and educator. She has been involved in over 80 productions and has won numerous awards for her acting, including Best Actress awards from Fort Worth Weekly Reader's Choice in 2018 and Fort Worth Weekly Critic's Choice in 2016.
Apart from her work in theatre, Dana is also an accomplished on-camera and voice-over artist with an extensive fundraising portfolio. She is a proud activist for human rights and is deeply committed to contributing to the regional community by producing and creating great live theatre while personally growing as an artist.
Dana is currently the Executive Producer at Stage West, where she is responsible for producing and overseeing productions, managing operations, and leading the theatre's artistic vision. She has also previously held positions at FUNimation Entertainment, Kim Dawson Talent, and Ol' Vic Cafe- Stage West. Dana has dedicated her career to the theatre industry and has raised over 7.5 million in development funds since 2007.
Education-wise, Dana studied Theatre at Texas Wesleyan University and has won various educational awards, including the Star Award for Outstanding Leadership in Education 2016. She is also a recipient of the Texas Commission on the Arts Playwriting Hall of Fame 2015 award, and the Great Women of Texas Class of 2018 award, among others.
