Meet Michael Grupp, a legal tech entrepreneur and CEO of BRYTER, a no-code platform helping professional services digitize and scale their knowledge. With over 200+ employees and customers worldwide, BRYTER is one of the fastest-growing enterprise automation platforms. Before he was a CEO, Grupp began his career as a lawyer specializing in international litigation and arbitration. However, he soon discovered his passion for building companies and began two start-ups: Thesius, an academic research platform and recruiting portal later sold to Persona Service AG in 2017, and Lexalgo, an automation specialist, which BRYTER acquired in 2018. Grupp's core research topics and speaking engagements concern the future of the legal industry, decision automation, legal technology, and enterprise SaaS. He is a member of the Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession, the Task Force Legal Tech of the Association of German Lawyers (DAV) e.V., and serves as a lecturer on Legal Technology and Innovation at Goethe University, Frankfurt.
