Lars Leganger

Lars Leganger is a distinguished theoretical physicist who transitioned into the realm of applied machine learning after gaining experience as a financial services quant consultant. Currently, he spearheads the Digital Trust AI team at PwC Norway, focusing on promoting the safe and ethical utilization of Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence technologies in diverse sectors. Lars holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Oslo (UiO). His professional journey includes pivotal roles such as Director at PwC Norway, Team Lead in Analytics ML/AI at SpareBank 1, Pricing Actuary, Senior Consultant at EY, Science Lector at Teach First, and Research Fellow at Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
