Omid Hariri

Omid Hariri is a Board Certified Neurological Surgeon with a specialization in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal oncology, spinal degenerative deformity, and more.

He completed his Complex Spine Fellowship in Neurosurgery at Stanford University School of Medicine and holds a D.O. from the College of Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences.

His educational background also includes an M.Sc. in Neurobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a B.S. in Neuroscience from the same institution.

Currently, Omid Hariri serves as a Neurosurgeon at Kaiser Permanente, having previously worked at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and held positions at Stanford University School of Medicine.

He has experience as a Clinical Instructor, Complex Spine Fellow, and has been actively involved in various organizations and research endeavors in the field of neurosurgery.

Omid Hariri's expertise also encompasses areas such as complex occipitocervical fusions, spinal and cranial neurotrauma, Metastatic Spinal and Cranial Tumors, general neurosurgery, basic-science, and clinical-outcome research.

Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to the field through his roles as the Founding President of the Neurosurgery Interest Society and as a Neurosurgery Resident Physician at Riverside University Health System Medical Center.

Additionally, he has been involved in academia as an Assistant Course Director at Western University of Health Sciences and has a background as a Medical Student and a Graduate Student at institutions including Western University of Health Sciences and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
