Mykal Urbina
Mykal Urbina is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, and marketing. Urbina holds a B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from Ithaca College, and is a graduate of the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service (FELPS) program at NYU.
Urbina is currently the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Prior to this role, Urbina spent several years at the New York Philharmonic as both the Director and the Manager of Corporate Sponsorships. Urbina has also worked at DonorsChoose.org in various roles, including Partnerships Manager and Copywriter.
In addition to his work at nonprofit organizations, Urbina has experience in advertising and branding. He has worked as an Account Director at Spark and as a Cause Branding/Crisis Management Intern at Cone.
With his blend of nonprofit and corporate experience, Urbina is a skilled communicator and strategic thinker who can connect donors, partners, and audiences to a wide range of cultural causes.
