Rick Homans is a highly accomplished professional with over a decade of experience in economic development in both the public and private sectors. He is well-versed in creating and implementing policies that lead to job creation, business expansion, and economic growth. Rick's unique blend of skills and experience has enabled him to successfully lead large-scale projects and develop innovative incentive programs.

Rick's career in economic development started in New Mexico, where he served as Secretary of the Economic Development Department and Taxation and Revenue Department. During his tenure, he led teams to recruit major companies and played a key role in the development of Spaceport America. Rick has also served as the Executive Director of the New Mexico Spaceport Authority, where he managed the financing, programming, design, and engineering of the ambitious project.

More recently, Rick has been serving as the President and CEO of the Tampa Bay Partnership and the Tampa-Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation. Both organizations focus on advocacy, public policy, and supporting the efforts of eight-county regions in economic development. Rick's leadership and expertise have led to significant growth in job creation and business expansion in the Tampa Bay area.

With a degree in English from Beloit College, Rick is an excellent communicator who can convey complex messages in a clear and concise manner. He has a unique ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures, making him an effective leader and facilitator.
