Julie Pareles is an accomplished Not-for-Profit Executive and Project Manager with over 15 years of diverse management, program development, strategic planning, and fundraising experience. She has demonstrated outstanding success in leading various internal and external stakeholders, developing and funding programs, building strategic partnerships and collaborations, and increasing fundraising capacity. Julie's fundraising expertise includes procuring major gifts, corporate, foundation, and government grants, as well as managing special events. Her program development and management, team building, and marketing and PR skills are exceptional. Julie's strengths lie in her ability to analyze and measure fundraising outcomes, communicate effectively, lead committees, and build relationships with board members. She holds an MA in Communications from Indiana University Bloomington and a BA in Psychology from Cornell University. Julie previously served as the Director of Development, New York Metro Area at Hadassah, Executive Director at Blue Ocean Institute, and Director of Development and Communications at Long Island Children's Museum, among others. Julie has also raised an impressive $14.3M for Hadassah including annual results of $3M-$4M (2016-2018). Julie is mainly interested in opportunities in healthcare, supporting women & children, creative placemaking, community development, science and technology, social justice. She recently earned the NCCP Certification in Creative Placemaking (July 2020).
