Dhruv Lakra, an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur, is the founder and CEO of Mirakle Couriers, a Mumbai-based start-up company that provides last-mile delivery solutions. Dhruv's academic background is impressive, having earned a bachelor's degree in commerce with a first-class distinction from the University of Mumbai followed by an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
After completing his MBA, Dhruv held an analyst position at Merrill Lynch Investment Banking/Mergers and Acquisitions, where he worked on various projects revolving around investments and corporate strategy. Later, he joined Dasra, an Indian strategic philanthropy foundation, where he observed how social issues could be addressed by combining entrepreneurship with social initiatives. These experiences inspired him to launch Mirakle Couriers, which employs deaf individuals as delivery personnel, thus empowering them and showing that they can make valuable contributions to society.
Dhruv's commitment to creating a company that promotes social inclusion and sustainability has earned him numerous honors and accolades, including being featured on Forbes India's "30 under 30" list and a World Economic Forum "Global Shaper". He speaks frequently on topics such as social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and disability rights, and has served in various advisory roles in social enterprises and start-up companies.
