Ada Powers, a human-centered culture consultant, UX researcher, and inclusive culture builder, is a dynamic force for change in the technology industry. Her diverse background includes a bachelor's degree in cognitive science with an HCI specialization from the University of California, San Diego, as well as an associate's degree in psychology from Oxnard College. Throughout her career, Ada has held leadership roles in organizations, such as community liaison at The Design Lab at UC San Diego, front-end developer at San Diego County Credit Union, executive board member at SDXD, and Info Developer + UX Researcher at Tealium. She is a former president of the All-Campus Transfer Association and a former technician at TechEase Computer Solutions, among other roles.

Ada is dedicated to creating a more compassionately connected world, and her work has led her to consult on inclusive culture in many companies. As a queer person herself, Ada is committed to creating empowering and safe spaces for all individuals. Her passion for creating more diversity in technology has led her to offer expertise in HCI, UX research, and community building consulting services. Through her work, Ada has helped companies grow by creating more inclusive and diverse cultures. As a technician, she has helped set up computer systems and troubleshoot computer issues, while also supporting initiatives that help promote diversity and inclusion in tech.

Despite her busy professional life, Ada is committed to giving back to her community. She has volunteered as an orientation leader and ambassador, a student representative for the transportation policy committee, and an associate system administrator. She has also served as a transfer senator and an onsite technician at Geek Squad. Ada's dedication to creating a more compassionate, connected world through her work and community involvement is infectious, and she is a true leader in the technology industry.
