David Van Deventer is a seasoned HR and technology executive with over 20 years of experience. With a BS in Industrial & System Engineering and an MBA from the renowned Georgia Institute of Technology, David has honed his skills in HR strategy, process design, and technology implementation. Throughout his career, he has successfully implemented enterprise HR programs and led teams to achieve business goals. As the Vice President of HR Planning & Operations at HD Supply, one of North America's largest wholesale supply and industrial distributors with over 12,000 employees, David oversees several critical HR functions such as HR Technology, Shared Services, Payroll, Compliance, Vendor Management, and PMO. David's specialties and career highlights include HR process re-engineering, HCM technology implementations, service management methodology & technology implementation, HR transformation, payroll management, and reporting & analytics. Aside from his current role, David has served in several other key HR leadership positions at HD Supply and The Home Depot.
