Uwe Wagner is a seasoned sales strategist, partner manager, and business development expert with over 35 years of experience. He has held senior positions at companies like Cray Research, SUN Microsystems, and Volkswagen of America’s ICT division gedas, among others. Uwe has extensive marketing and sales experience, particularly in managing multiple product and service offerings, strategic business development, and leading large channel and partner organizations. He founded Tiburon Consulting LLC in 2009, which has been delivering interim business development leadership to European start-ups trying to enter the US high-tech industry. Uwe is also an active Board member of the German American Business Association and has moderated panel discussions on various software-related topics like Open Source, Cloud Computing, Green IT, Cyber Security, and Gamification. Recently, Uwe has shifted his industry focus towards Life Sciences, especially Aging and Technology, as he aims to connect German innovators with the Silicon Valley's innovation culture. Uwe has a B.A. degree from Bentheim Technical College and has studied at both the University of California, Berkeley, and the Haas School of Business.
