John Rowland
John Rowland is a musician, writer, and IT professional from southwest Kansas. He gained popularity in the region with the jazz and fusion group Rosewood, which had the opportunity to share the stage with big names like Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, and Jerry Hahn. John then toured college campuses across the US with City Lights, a ministry band that covered rock songs to spread spiritual messages. Later, John became a bassist and acoustic guitarist for worship music groups in the Indiana University community at Bloomington. Alongside his music career, John pursued an IT career and took on roles like IT Manager at Delek Refining, Tech Consultant at JohnRowlandTech, and Network Administrator at various companies. John writes music and also enjoys co-writing in Nashville, where he can find inspiration from the city's creative music scene.
