Teppo Kotirinta is a highly skilled Principal Designer who co-founded Nordkapp, the leading design agency in Finland. With over 20 years of experience in building internet, multimedia, and mobile services, Teppo has worked on a range of projects, from engineering a startup e-commerce product to developing healthcare and banking applications. His recent work with augmented reality and helping people in developing countries has earned him recognition, including the IXDA Awards Shortlist 2019 and Webby Award Nominee 2018 for technical achievement in Augmented Reality.

Teppo designs with empathy for the users, always aiming for the simplest possible solution. His technical background helps him collaborate with agile engineers on the end product, a skill that is essential for producing high-end results. His areas of expertise include user interfaces for complex data-driven applications, their user experience, and interaction design.

Teppo is a graduate of Bachelor of Engineering in Media Technology at Espoo-Vantaa Institute of Technology, MA in New Media at Taideteollinen korkeakoulu - Konstindustriella högskolan, MA at Swinburne University of Technology, and BA at Shanghai University.
