I worked on the Winter Olympics in 2010 and my company was involved in special events, accommodation and hospitality purcurement. It was an exciting 16 months of very hard work but not without its many rewards. Major successes were housing many of the teams and organizing hospitality venues for several of the represented countries. High points had to be doing an interview with the Washington Post, hosting the Jamaican Bobsled team at my house during trials, hosting the Olympic gold medal winners from the US Freestyle Team and cooking for the Russian judges.

Owned a wonderful boutique chocolate shop in Dundarave West Vancovuver and thoroughly enjoyed all the wonderful people who came to the shop. Explored chocolates from all over the world and really had the best time possible. Shop closed due to competitors moving in to the area as well as landlord retrieved the space at the end of the lease. Miss the shop and in all the days spent there I only had four grumby people which restored my faith in people.

Pubished BC Salmon a Celebration of Paintings and Cookery which found success when it was picked up by national media: Maclean's Magazine, Canada AM, and even had me cooking for Julio Inglasias on Dini Petty. The book went through three printings in several months and made the bestsellers lists. I went on and published author's titles and had relative success. Published Pacific Spirit by Patrick Moore which was reviewed in the Economist and reached the US Senate and we sold a ton of them on the corporate market.

I have been doing yoga since highschool and in my mid thirties I became certified to teach yoga and prenatal yoga with Motherwell USA. I then went on to obtain from Douglas College a certificate as a labour support doula. I attended 35 births and pursue this on a part time basis. I would like to work on a project that would better assist pregnant partners qive up smoking.

Art rental company and art publishing. Involved in corporate acquisitions and rentals. Initiated art and environment committees and installations at several hospitals including UBC Health Sciences, Women's Hospital and Lion's Gate in North Vancouver. Toured to Japan as guests of the Japanese Government with artist Ted Harrison. Worked on the the official Expo 86 as the art consultant and was responsible for selecting and contracting the artists for the official series. Organized sales and marketing of poster series. Produced an art show Art Vancouver with 300 exhibitors at Robson Square.
