Akailah Jenkins McIntyre is a passionate educator, programs manager, and diversity practitioner originally from Charleston, SC. She possesses a deep interest in food, writing, learning, and travel.

Akailah has a robust educational background, holding a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Southern California, a Master's Degree in Learning, Diversity, and Urban Studies, and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and American Studies from Vanderbilt University.

In her professional journey, Akailah has held various key roles including Director of the Leadership Institute at Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Co-Founder and Consultant at The Wells Collective, LLC, and Adjunct Professor in the Communications Department at Towson University.
