Glaze Martillano

Glaze Martillano is a Recruitment Leader dedicated to advocating for #womenintech and diversity within the tech industry.

With a background in Human Resources Management and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Toronto, Glaze has nearly a decade of experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent advisory, and career coaching.

Currently, Glaze is part of the Talent Acquisition team focusing on Global Product & Software Engineering at Meta, where she works on building inclusive engineering and product teams.

Throughout her career journey, Glaze has worked on recruitment strategies, employer branding, and fostering workplace culture while also establishing partnerships and mentoring young professionals entering the workforce.

Glaze's leadership style is characterized by empathy, authenticity, and vulnerability, qualities that have helped her become a visionary leader, strategic recruiter, and collaborative partner.

Her expertise spans across technical, corporate, and executive recruitment, with a strong emphasis on diversity recruitment and campus programs.

Previously, Glaze was involved in talent acquisition for software development, product management, and sales at Fleet Complete, as well as enterprise IT, finance, and legal sectors at Loblaw Companies Limited.

Prior to that, she held roles at House of Lano as a Co-Owner/Interior Designer, Robert Half as a Lead IT Recruiter, and Waterford as a Senior Recruiter.

Outside of work, Glaze Martillano is interested in self-help books, market trends, and the evolving workplace dynamics.
