A seasoned expert with an extensive background in Venture Capital, Biotech, and Pharma, Dr. Whiteley has held multiple executive positions, including CEO and Board of Director roles. Her broad international experience includes spearheading affiliates in Japan and Europe. Driven by a desire to bring transformative life science innovations to market, she has a proven record of building and creating companies in therapeutics, diagnostics, and personalized medicine. She specializes in strategic planning, financing, partnerships, restructuring, building executive teams, and M&A.

Dr. Whiteley's scientific background is grounded in pharmacology, immunology, and inflammation, and she has authored multiple publications and developed several new chemical entities. She received her BA in Chemistry and PhD in Pharmacology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Whiteley is also an active mentor, serving as a Global Social Benefit Incubator mentor at Santa Clara University and mentoring women executives at Springboard Enterprises. She serves on multiple boards, including Analyte Health, RainDance Technologies, and the Personalized Medicine Coalition, and sits on the advisory board of the University of Michigan, School of Nursing.
