Raul Fernandez, native Washingtonian and successful entrepreneur, is currently the Vice Chairman and Owner of Monumental Sports & Entertainment, a private partnership that owns several prominent sports franchises in Washington, DC. Fernandez is also a Senior Advisor and Limited Partner to General Atlantic Partners, a growth equity firm with over $35 billion under management. With extensive experience in the technology industry, he founded Proxicom, a global provider of e-commerce solutions for Fortune 500 companies, which he grew from four employees in 1991 to $200 million in revenue. Fernandez sold Proxicom to Dimension Data for $450 million and served as Chief Executive Officer for Dimension Data North America from 2000 to 2002. He is an active technology investor in disruptive companies and serves on several boards of directors, including Broadcom, DXC, GameStop, InSite, Perfect Sense, and URBANEER.
