Young Kim

Young Kim is a highly accomplished business leader with a diverse background across multiple industries. He holds a B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Oklahoma City University. Before pivoting to the private industry, Kim served as a Mission Crew Instructor in the United States Air Force.

Kim has held various senior positions in companies ranging from start-ups to established businesses, where he primarily focused on accelerating commercialization and creating and implementing profitable business strategies. As the CEO of Guided Systems Technologies, he was responsible for leading the company's operations and overseeing the development of state-of-the-art sensor technology. Similarly, he also served as the Interim CEO, VP Business Development at GTronix, where he concentrated on catalyzing and refining the company's sales and marketing efforts.

Prior to his roles in the private industry, Kim served as a Commercialization Catalyst at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he advised tech start-ups on creating commercialization plans to bring their products to market. He also worked as a Managing Director at Pronix Inc. and Founder of STRiCOR, Inc., both of which were focused on research and development in defense industry technology.

Apart from his technical expertise, Kim has also volunteered as a Project Architect at Future Farm, where he led the design and implementation of sustainable agriculture systems. Furthermore, he has held roles such as General Manager at BOSH Precision Agriculture and Chief Operations Officer at Algorithm, Inc., where he honed his commercial skills in delivering profitable farming solutions and scaling operations.
